RESOLUCIÓN DEL JURADO SECCIÓN SINFÓNICA. 29/11/2009.
En primer lugar se hace entrega del premio al mejor solista que ha recaído. por unanimidad, en Sandra Rocío Barco Gómez, flautín solista de la Banda Sinfónica Escuela de Música de Tocancipá (Colombia).
La banda de la Societat Unió Musical d'Alberic
ha obtenido 553,50 puntos,
por lo que le corresponde un PRIMER premio.
La banda de la Sdad. Musical La Artística de Buñol
ha obtenido 571,50 puntos,
por lo que le corresponde un PRIMER premio.
Como la Sdad. Musical La Artística de Buñol ha obtenido la mayor puntuación, el jurado decide concederle, además, la Mención de Honor, el trofeo Sociedad Filarmónica Alteanense y el premio Villa de Altea, dotado de 11.000.-€
RESOLUCIÓN DEL JURADO SECCIÓN PRIMERA. 28/11/2009.
La banda del Centre Artístic Musical Santa Cecília de Foios
ha obtenido 503,80 puntos,
por lo que le corresponde un PRIMER premio.
La banda de la Sdad. Musical Santa Cecilia de Chelva
ha obtenido 496,00 puntos,
por lo que le corresponde un SEGUNDO premio.
La Banda Sinfónica de la Escuela de Formación Musical de Tocancipá
ha obtenido 471,50 puntos,
por lo que le corresponde un SEGUNDO premio.
La Banda Sinfónica del Círculo Católico de Torrent
ha obtenido 503,50 puntos,
por lo que le corresponde un PRIMER premio.
Como la banda del Centre Artístic Musical Santa Cecília de Foios ha obtenido la mayor puntuación, el jurado decide concederle, además, la Mención de Honor, el trofeo Sociedad Filarmónica Alteanense y el premio Villa de Altea, dotado de 8.000 €.

Each member of the qualifying jury of the competition shall score 0-10 to each one of the following aspects: tuning, quality of sound, sonority levels, technique, articulation, conjunction, rhythm, tones, dynamics and general performance of the composition in both the compulsory piece and the composition of free choice. The final score of each band shall be the sum of all the partial scores given. The scores given by the jury shall be made public and shall not be subject to appeal.
The prizes shall be awarded as followed:
First prize: If the final score is between 500 and 600 points.
Second prize: If the final score is equal to or over 400 points and under 500 points.
Third prize: If the final score is equal to or over 300 points and under 400 points.
A Mention of Honour shall be awarded to the band that achieves the highest score, provided that it is equal to or over 500 points. The Mention of Honour cannot be shared.
Each participant band shall receive a diploma, in proof of the prize obtained.
The band which obtains the highest score shall be awarded with the Societat Filharmònica Alteanense trophy and the Vila d’Altea prize, endowed according to section:
· FIRST 8.000 €
· SYMPHONIC 11.000 €
This prize cannot be shared or be declared not awarded. If two or more bands should tie at the highest score, the band which is to be awarded the prize and trophy shall be decided by majority of jury.
Each one of the remaining bands shall receive an economic contribution according to section:
· FIRST 3.000 €
· SYMPHONIC 5.000 €
The Golden Flag Banner shall be awarded to the band which has obtained First Prize of the competition on three occasions.
The Golden Baton shall be awarded to the conductor who has obtained First Prize of the competition on three occasions.
The jury shall award a special prize to the best soloist player of both sections. The prize consits of a diploma and a weekend trip for two people.
